good moth trap

I had a problem with moths in my pantry. It took a while before I saw results, but one of these traps seems to have caught all of them.

BEST out of 5!!!

We had a growing moth problem for 2+ years. We cleaned out our kitchen several times, but the moths seemed to keep coming back. I think mostly because we live in a 2-family home and we can not control how clean the other unit is.

So we decided to take drastic action, and not knowing much about moth traps, we bought five kinds - Safer, Springstar, Pro-Pest, Catchmaster, and Contech. We figured that each was a bit different and wanted to make sure this would end the problem.

The Contech traps caught more moths than all the others combined. Even taking out the pheremone packet, I was literally swarmed with probably 30+ moths before I could even get it into the sticky trap (kind of freaked me out, since this didn't happen with the other traps). Over the course of the next few days, the Contech traps continued to capture moths - a couple of the other ones never had a moth in them.

They kept the moths away for over a year, but now I'm now coming back to re-order because the moths are now returning from the other apartment in our house. I'm getting them some traps, too, so maybe we can get rid of them for good this time.

Works great!

I've had a tiny gray moth that tried to take over my kitchen. It was about 1/4th inch long. It ate flour products, rice and even my chocolate chips! But, this trap has worked wonders. After a month I had to replace the trap because it was full. Recently I put up a new trap and it only collected 6 moths in 4 weeks. I think with these traps I will be able to completely eradicate my moth problem.
Note that one one type of moth is attracted to this bait. If you have a bigger moth, or a different moth it won't work.
