IF ITS GOOD, IT'S GOOD!

After compairing and studying what's available, (I'm a pilot, I do that), I choose this drive and AMAZON to buy from. The first disk was defective. I bought another and AMAZON replaced the first one. Both are working as advertised. CONGRATS' to AMAZON. The delivery was quik, the price was good, the delivery was free, and the replacement was easy and quik. HELLO COMPETITORS, maybe you can learn from AMAZON. I will buy from AMAZON again.

I don't normally take the time to review products, but I've been looking FOREVER for a reliable, positively rated 1 TB drive to backup everything. I settled on the LaCie. I have a seagate 300 GB and a WD 500 GB, and I'm happy with both, but both get negative TB reviews. Being a PC guy, I've never used LaCie much. I've only had the product for a couple weeks now, but I'm 100% satisfied. I'd highly recommend. Keep in mind though, that it's only been a month, and I haven't had to deal with customer service or anything like that. If it fails or gives me issues, I'll come back and update.

MAC Compatible

Picked up a Western Digital drive and had to return it because it wasn't install friendly. Bought the LaCie drive which was recommended by a MAC genius during and it instantly was recognized by my MBP. Hassle free installation. Recommend the LaCie rack because drive has a large footprint.
