Julbo Sherpa goggles

Having seen little about these lenses, but hearing good things from the few reviews I HAD seen, I decided to give them a try. They are shipped with a hard plastic case which does an excellent job of protecting them when not on your face and they have a cord that can be attached so they hang around your neck if the case isn't needed. I'm not a big fan of wrap-around style earpieces, but these are quite comfortable and don't bother me at all. I spend a good deal of time looking downward at work, and I have yet to have these glasses slide off my face. The side shields work excellently, very little outside light gets past them and the glasses fit closely enough to the face that only when the sun is very high and in front will you get any real amount of glare. If a hat is worn in addition, there is almost zero glare. The lenses themselves are outstanding, very good clarity and enough tint to really reduce brightness but not overly impact visibility.

Overall I'm very happy with these glasses, I have a pair of Serengeti glasses that cost almost twice what these did, and for outdoor activities, these Julbo glasses have taken the #1 spot for me.

I guess I have a small head

I've been wanting some Julbo glacier glasses for some time. I finally bought the Sherpa glasses and although I'm still happy with them they do not quite fit my head. the ear loop design works great and exactly like they day they do in the description but they don't hug my face very tight because the stems of the glasses are too long. I put some sunglass retainers on and pulled them tight so they stay but I would have been a lot happier if they fit right. I'm 5'4" so it might be just me but If I had an option I would have got another style of Julbo glasses

2 pairs and counting.....

Both my wife and I have had a couple pairs of these over the last 8 or 9 years and for the price they can't be beat. I'm out 40 to 50 days a year in the mountains with about half of that time on snow. I love that they don't slide around like other glasses when you're sweating or highly active. The only complaint I might have is that after several years the rubber on the ear piece starts coming loose.

Great

I'm not using these for the original purpose but they're great for what I need. I live in Texas and have developed great sensitivity to light over the past couple of years. These lenses block out enough light that I have next to no difficulty on a bright day.

I've read a few reviews about these being a cheap version and easy to damage but I have not add any problems. They've been dropped on several occasions, sometimes onto concrete without even a scratch on the lenses. The plastic that wraps around your ears feels really flimsy at first, but seems like it would take a lot of effort to break it.

The airflow is also great, and the little bits that are open allow my eyes to get some moisture.

Wonderful and cheap!

There was a few bad reviews, but mostly good so I went for it. These glasses are amazing! they block all UV and are not all that dark so you can still see everything very clearly. I love the side shields, when they are on almost no light gets in from any side. Easily the best sunglasses I have ever bought, you wont be disappointed!
