Very practical...a tad unwieldy.

This is a great idea. It's cheap and it allows you to get cool shots from any kind of strange vantage point. It has long velcro straps to hold tightly. It's a bit difficult to mount tightly in cramped areas because the long velcro can tangle up (I mounted it onto the rearview mirror pillar) but it does exactly what it intends to do. As a fan of camera stabilization of any ilk, I recommend this for the flip.
