Dell is a ripoff

So my cord on my Inspiron 1501 died after 1 year of service. What was more infuriating is that Dell wanted over $90 for a replacement (with S&H). So I decided to shop around and found this cord. I purchased it and it came in about a week. So far it works great and I paid a third of what Dell was asking. The kicker is this...it is the exact same cord as the one that came with my Dell. Screw Dell and their over priced products. If this one goes out in a year I won't be too sad knowing I can get an exact replacement for only a fraction of the cost. Worth every penny, thank you!

My Dell Inspiron 600m is happy

My old power adapter (an actual Dell one) was suddenly not being recognized by Dell as a dell adaptor, so my system was complaining, performing slowly, and not charging the battery.

I ordered this adaptor - it looks exactly like my dell one just without the Dell name on the adaptor. But there's even the same oval area for where the word "Dell" should be - so highly suspect it's actually the same adaptor manufactured in the same place.

Anyway, my Inspiron 600m is quite happy with this adaptor. No issues whatsoever. I imagine that any dell that uses the same adaptor that the Inspiron 600m uses would be equally happy. Great savings on the price!
