A Perfect Night Light!

I bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter. We recently moved into a new house and she was having some trouble falling asleep at night. Our new place is much quieter and darker than the old apartment. Enter the Twilight Lady Bug! She LOVES to fall asleep looking at the stars and will change the colors and turn it on and off. It makes her feel secure to know she has a light she can control. Her favorite thing to do is "spot the moon" on the ceiling while we are star gazing in her bed. If the moon ends up on the wall she says "oh no!" and turns the bug until the moon is above her bed. The stars look best in a dark room so this doesn't really work for nap time. The three color settings each have their own brightness: blue (brightest), green (middle), red (least bright). When shopping for night lights I was glad I came across this. I have a feeling I will be ordering one for her baby sister soon!

Love this guy.

I feel strongly about sensory integration and this is a way to add a cool stimulation to the night for a child at a great cost. I don't imagine it would weather well as a toy to play with but, as a projection device it works.

A cute nightlight...

I purchased this item for my newborn-to-be... My husband and I love it. I don't think the constellations are as easy to find as it says they may be; however, that does not ruin our opinion at all. There are different levels/colors of lighting (blue is our favorite). We think our child will grow up with this little turtle as his nightlight and love it as much as we do. Absolutely perfect!

wish I could turn off timer feature

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old who is having trouble sleeping in the dark. She loves the projection while she falls asleep (it is a very high quality projection, the stars and moon are very clear) However, the turtle turns itself off after 45 minutes automatically which is not very helpful when my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night in darkness again. Would give it 5 stars if I could choose to have it on all night. Timer is no good for us!

Turtle Constellation

I purchased this for my grandson for his Pre-K graduation present in June and he just loves it. He carries it all over the place and has people turn the lights out to see it show the stars. I even tried it to see how it worked before giving to him and I just loved it. I highly reccommend this for your child
