THROW OUT THE PROTECTIVE CAP or your trimmer wil DIE!

Sounds lame but I've bought three of these, because my first two failed to continue working, and I never found a reasonable substitute, so I was determined to figure out how to keep this third one alive... Here it is, folks:

THROW OUT THE PROTECTIVE CAP!

Their instructions downplay too much the need to wait until after the trimmer is COMPLETELY dry before placing the protective cap over the head.

If it's even the slightest bit damp when you place that cover on, it will NEVER run again... }X0

For this third one, I have yet to use the protective cap at all (although I also haven't yet thrown it out: "Do what I say, not what I do!").

Hope that saves some frustration out there.

(Norelco, you have to do a WAAAAAY better job emphasizing how absolutely bone dry the trimmer MUST be in order to even consider placing the cap on it).

Best one yet!

I've tried several of these things and this is easily the best one by far. Others are flimsy and die easily and early. This feels solid, does the job quickly and is comfortable. Why didn't I use this before?
