Vermont Castings 4 Burner Grill

Bought this as a surprise gift for my brother. delivery was excellent and arrived right on the day Amazon stated it would .. arrived in great condition (No damage!). The grill went together very nicely and the finish, materials etc fit together as designed. The instructions were ok and it helps to have a little mechanical aptitude and tools. Many nice features to include the rotisserie, side burner and the lighted dials. This is the second Vermont Castings Grill that I have purchased in the last 3 years. I have the 5 burner Stainless Steel Model(LP) at my home,and it functions beautifully and gets a full workout all year long. Like any appliance, grills need to be maintained and I also invested in the VC grill cover to keep it protected against the elements. I clean my grill to include the exterior, burners (at least quarterly) drip pan and flame diffusers as needed and depending on the level of usage. I have not had any issues with burners, drip pan, porcelain grill sections, pizo lighter, side burner or the electrical elements(Lighted dials). I am very happy with my grill and I get compliments on both its looks and features. Admittedly I have not had to deal with Vermont Castings Customer Service so I cannot address or rate that aspect. All in all, I would purchase (and did) another Vermont Castings Gas Grill.

Great Grill - BUT company has declared bankruptcy

First off, this is a great grill for the price. You will get a top-of-the-line product that has pleased us very much when it comes to grilling. Unfortunately, when assembling the grill, a few (minor and cosmetic) parts were missing from the packaging. I called customer service and they promised that the missing pieces would be shipped shortly... A month passed. I contacted them again and they said it was on its way... another month passed. When I called this morning, I got the recording that they had declared bankruptcy and the product is no longer covered under warranty. Translated, this means that I am stuck with what I have. Fortunately, the grill is operable as is. I suppose if critical pieces were missing from your order Amazon would credit your account, but keep this in mind when ordering. It is an excellent product and certain to last a long time, assuming all parts are included...

Everything is Juicier

Wow. Growing up we all remember those dry pork chops or hockey pucks for burgers. I have not had a dry piece of meat since I bought this grill and its been used hard since. I purchased the 4-burner 3 months ago when Amazon had a really good price. It arrived on time. Assembly was about 4 hours. Make sure you have 2 friends ready to help lift the unit onto the stand.....this thing is a tank. Ive looked around plenty. $200-300 grills are made so cheap, and most of the grills I was really considering were close to or over $1,000. This grill is amazing. It's clean, has many nice features, ignites effortlessly(just a push of the button), and gets over 500 degress in just minutes. The side burner works well and gets water boiling fast. I bought a Vermont Castings cover locally to cover it.

As I write this I see Amazon is offering this unit again at a great deal. My advice is order it. Then tell your friends about this too. You will not be dissapointed.
