"holster". The camera fits snugly but can be drawn and used quickly. There is a small zippered pocket for batteries or a memory card. Attractive, typical Canon high quality fabric.

this product slides on the side of your belt loop and allows you to carry your canon power shot like a cell phone and it is not bulky. This was a great pickup for the canon powershot.

Nice Case

Nice case, the A590 IS fits well in it, it has an extra pocket so you can fit an extra set of 2AA batteries and an SD card easily.

Works for me

This case is just what I was looking for. It is a bit small but I like the size because I didn't want a bulky case. I can fit extra batteries AND a memory card in it and that's all I need. I saw some reviews that said they couldn't do that but I haven't had a problem. I bought a neck lanyard to go on the camera and I can just slip the camera in the case and flip the case flap through the lanyard in a matter of seconds and be on the go. I love the convenience.

Pro...Good quality - Padded - Belt loop - Zipper pouch.
Con...The only thing I see wrong with it is that the zipper pouch is very small. It will hold 4 AA batteries or perhaps 2 AA batteries and one SDE card.
