Perfect Pasta Rack

This rack is perfect. It isn't too large. It fits just enough pasta. The pasta dries without sticking. The wood is easy to clean and easy to put away (since it comes apart). Perfect for home pasta making!

I purchased this at the same time as my pasta attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer. It arrived after the pasta maker so the first batch I made without this and just laid the pasta on the bench. Not the best success as it stuck together quite a bit. But when this arrived I tried again and it was fantastic. Easy to drape the pasta over the rods and enough rods for a full batch of fresh pasta (which lasts my husband and I 3-4 nights (freezing what we don't use). It is simple to assemble and disassemble so it is easy to store. Just wipe it clean and it is good to go.

I highly recommend this. For the price and the convenience you can't go wrong. And after spending that money on the pasta machine you want to spend those few extra dollars so it ends up just right.

Pasta rack was a gift for my grand-daughter, a culinary art student. She is very pleased with it.

makes pasta day easier

Before getting this, we used to dry the pasta on LONG wooden dowels that were stretched across two kitchen chairs.

+ this gadget takes up a lot less room
+ once sanded to fit, it comes apart/goes together easily

- i wish it were a little higher.
- one of the dowels needed sanding to get it to fit. was too tight.
