From the supplier: The limited liability of shareholders in a joint stock company violates the causality and symmetry principles of morality. The causality principle requires shareholders to answerable for their actions while the symmetry principle requires them to suffer the losses because they enjoy the profits. While the causality principle considers the limited management control of shareholders, it also requires fair distribution of profits based on the actions of individual shareholders.
