This is great!

I've only had this oven for three weeks, but I love it already!! I had researched many brands before deciding on this one. I used to have a wall convection/microwave/thermal oven and found it to be a great time saver and it made delicious food. When we moved, I had no space for a wall oven and couldn't find a countertop oven that would microwave and convection bake/roast at the same time. This oven does and does it beautifully!! You can cook a frozen 4-5 lb.roast (although with the inverter technology, why not defrost?) with veggies and have it on the table - fork tender - in under an hour! The recipes in the book are great! The oven is so user friendly. When you press one button, whatever you're supposed to do next lights up. My family calls it the "talking microwave". The first thing I cooked was a traditional tuna casserole - just for comparison sake - and it really did great!! I cooked the pasta in the microwave, then added everything else - including the cheese - and microwave cooked! The casserole was perfectly cooked with no hard edges - and I only had one dish to clean! Even if I didn't use the combination cooking mode, I would love just the microwave alone. Bread bakes evenly and comes out beautifully baked on convection mode, as does pizza! I highly recommend this convection microwave oven to anyone. It's so easy and simple to use and does a beautiful job so far of everything I've asked of it. Added benefit? It looks great, too!! Just read the book and adapt any of your own recipes accordingly - it's that easy!

The Best Convection/Microwave Ever Made

I plugged in the unit as soon as it arrived and set it up, which took no time at all. Yes, the way you press buttons and set the time and temperature is different from what you are used to, but trust me, it's a transition you will make without any trouble. I like the fact that the convection baking temperature stays displayed during the entire time you are cooking something with the convection feature. You will begin to love turning the dial for the cooking time rather than pressing individual buttons. This way if you make a mistake with the time, you can turn the dial forward or backwards instead of having to press clear and start all over re-entering the cooking time. The unit is programmed with intelligence which will make lighted rings blink around the dials to let you know which dial must be turned to achieve cooking. And talk about quiet. My Sharp Carousel was rather loud when I used the convection feature. The fan sounded almost as loud as a vent over a stove. Not so with this oven. I almost thought it wasn't working. It works well it's just much quieter. The only regret you will have with this oven is not owning one sooner. BUY IT NOW!

Pretty Decent

I use this in place of my standard oven. It cooks very well, including the sensor cooking. I think the user interface could be made a little more sophisticated, but the simplicity may appeal to the average user more than a geek like me.
