Magnificent!

Greg Holden does a magnificent job of telling us how to get the most out of our Kindle2. After reading "Kindle 2 User's Guide" and "The Kindle 2 Cookbook" I still could not get it. Then, using 'for dummies' creative style, Holden led me properly. I now am listening to MP3 as I read two books that I had published and now have on my Kindle2 from my computer files. I could not do that before I read his book

Dr. Gerald Menefee

Nice User's Guide for the Kindle 2 and Kindle

I did not anticipate this book to be a heavy read and I was correct. However, if you are a Kindle 2 (or even a first generation Kindle) owner, this book might be a good one to add to your collection. The price on Amazon was decent ($3.99 I think) and I found some new information that I was not aware of. One of the best discoveries that the book pointed me to was the service Kindlefeeder.com. I wrote a short review of kindlefeeder on my blog, quawkle.com and I found that I love the service. In addition, Kindle 2 for Dummies serves as a good users' manual for the Kindle. Not a must read, but might be helpful for the Kindle owner who wants to get the most from his or her Kindle.

This book is a great reference book for new Kindle users

I like this book because it's a concise and to-the-point reference I can use to locate an answer when I need one. Although I could figure out how to download and read a book, it was a bit more complicated to subscribe to newspapers, magazines, and blogs, and I wasn't quite sure where to start. This book helped me through that quickly and easily. I also enjoyed learning about the audio features, having the ability to search the Internet, and even shop or check prices on items I wanted to buy. I just didn't know all that was available, or how to do it. This book really helped me get to know my Kindle, and I enjoyed reading it.
