General Review

Modern Warfare 2 is a fun game in single player while the multiplayer has a few problems that make it near impossible to play unless you can exploit these problems or you are just good enough at this game that no amount of problems can stop you.

Some of the good things this CoD is that the single player continues on from CoD 4 and will definitely satisfy your need for the continuation of the storyline. Specops is one addition that is fun for you and your friends but gets boring fast since only some of the missions are truly fun (ex. Race, High explosive and wreckage). The finals positive point I have about MW2 is that it does add a lot of new weapons and perks but that is also a con.

The new amount of perks and weapons causes the game to be incredibly unbalanced which in turn leads to people using the dominate entire games of team deathmatch. Some examples of these unbalances was how the Rangers could shoot about 20 feet away while the other shotguns could only shoot 10 (now patched, but lasted for about 3 months), one man army allows you to switch between another class without dieing but still allows you to switch to the same class which grants you an infinite amount of grenade launchers or rpgs which brings me to another issue with balancing, the grenade launches are too overpowered compared to other weapons and cause many people to just blind fire them. There are still more issues with the balancing of weapons and perks but there is still one final problem and that is that all maps at one point had or still have glitches that allowed/allow for you to be invincible until you run out of ammo.

Overall I would not recommend this game unless you are only going to play single player and spec ops or you can deal with an incredibly unbalanced game.

this is yet another ultra linear interactive movie controls suck gameplay is inconsistent at best.
graphics are ok not even comparable to pc games from 3-4yrs ago.
if memory serves all the cods are like this not a fan maybe better on a better platform.
I could think of a lot better ways to spend your money if you must rent it little or no replay value at all.
