Works perfect, all ya gotta do is adjust the range or sensitivity and you are all set!! Love it!!

Linux friendly adapter

Using this adapter on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) with mupen64plus v1.99.3 works flawlessly. Controller buttons are auto-detected by the built-in controller configuration file. Note that this will not work well with the default version in the Karmic repos (mupen64plus v1.5), so you will need to download and install the emulator manually from their website. If you decide to use Projet64 under WINE, you may have some mixed results. All in all, a good product, and I will be purchasing another for some 4 player gaming very soon.

This is a smart, well-designed device

This is great because it allows you to use 2 controllers without wasting 2 USB ports (or even having to buy 2 adapters). My recommendation? Buy 2 of them and give yourself the option of 4 controllers active on just 2 USB ports.
I knew I wanted to play with original controllers, and with this hooked up an a barebones (by today's standards) PC running emulator software I'm able to do so. Buy this, then head to ebay if you don't still have your old controllers lying around. Then do a google search for "N64 emulator" and see what's out there. Have fun polishing your GoldenEye and Mario Kart 64 skills!
P.S. I haven't been able to get a Rumble Pak to work with my controller/emulator combination yet, but I've read that it's possible.

This thing works awesome. PJ64 is just that much better now. Thanks to all who reviewed this first, the reason I bought it. Also thanks to those who gave detailed instructions on setting it up. Works great.
