So funny!

I love this show! It is one of the funniest comedies on T.V. I missed the first half of the season so I can't wait for the DVD to come out.

AMAZING HYSTERICAL SHOW!

This show is sooo funny. I rarely laugh out loudly, but with this show I can't stop! I've told everyone I know about it!

A Comedic Powerhouse

By far the best show I have seen on tv since the days of "Seinfeld." Seinfeld left us in what '97 or '98 and I've never been so dedicated to watching a show like Modern Family since Kramer last raided Jerry's fridge.

ABC Scores a Big Hit

I just read that this show is up for multiple emmy awards, along with the likes of MAD MEN, 30 ROCK and other knockout shows. It certainly deserves it. This is a VERY comic view within one extended nuclear family of modern family life. There is the patriarch, Jay (played by the wonderful Ed O'Neill) who has remarried a much younger Columbian wife with her young Columbian son, Manny. Jay and Manny are pretty funny together. Jay has a grown daughter and a grown son with their extended families. Hands down the funniest bunch for me is the son who is gay, his partner and their newly adopted Vietnamese daughter Lily. Everything this gay couple does is hilarious. I watched the whole series again and this time I found that the son-in-law real estate agent, Phil, grew on me too. He is a very odd guy, weirder in his own way than the gay guys. He takes some getting used to as a character but I am enjoying him a lot now. The only show this reminds me of is HBO's cancelled ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. However, that show was a lot more over the top than this one is. This one comes a lot closer to resembling real life. I highly recommend this show.
