not happy!

The "on/off" broke after using about 10 times! I'm careful and very dissapointed it broke so quickly! It is so small and light and the sound quality is very good, but now it will not shut off until the battery runs down! Major hassle! I would not buy another SanDisk!

Ridiculous Value, Solid Player

When I thought my Cowon D2 had been lost or stolen, I wanted a cheap mp3 player that would hold me over until I got a new one and remain my backup player. A friend had bought the first generation of Sansa Clips and highly recommended it, so I bought the 8gb black Clip+ and I'm very happy with my purchase.

The sound quality is excellent, you get 8gb in a small package, it handles numerous formats, and the price is unbeatable.

Sure, the screen and interface aren't fancy, but when you compare it to the screenless ipod shuffle, it's a godsend.

The clip that it's named after is pretty useful, and you can of course slip this into any pocket if you would rather not clip it to your shirt/jacket/pocket/belt/whatever. And I love that it's mini-usb connection, no proprietary BS to deal with there.

Only thing I don't like is that when I browse by folder instead of id3 tag, some of the folders have a long string of numbers in front of the folder name, so that you have to wait for it to scroll before you can read it. That is really annoying, hopefully there is a firmware update to fix that. Not an issue if you're used to browsing by artist/album/genre etc. Or if you just put it on shuffle and go.
