What a great product!

The Moshi Trackguard is a a great product. Judging by the feel, they are easily prone to last a year each. Considering you get two in a pack, that's probably enough for your computer's life. Although protection wasn't a huge concern of mine, it is certainly a plus. The best thing about this product is the refined feel it gives your trackpad. The pad is a bid more "grippy" with the film in place, and thus it becomes a better input device for intricate editing in Photoshop or Final Cut Pro. Although I expected the film to be clear like the keyboard guard they sell, it is actually silver and looks beautiful. I am giving 4 stars (not 5) because you cannot tap to click with the film installed. However, all of my multi-touch gestures work even better with this in place. I used to find that I could accidentally trigger some multi-touch features, but not anymore!

Product works as expected

This product offers excellent protection for your trackpad. But make sure when you apply it you stick it in really well. Initially I just gently wiped it on but then my trackpad became unresponsive at times and very erratic. I simply peeled it off and stuck it back on, but this time, making sure to apply generous pressure. I don't have any more problems since.

Great product. Applies easily, and smooth, tactile feeling. It is great knowing the the trackpad is protected, while still having good control or the trackpad. Amazon was great in shipping within a week to Hawaii.
