An Amazing Collectors Item

This Singles Collection it's definitely what a Britney fan needs to have, it includes (almost) all of the singles she released through her 10 years on the music scene and also a DVD with her iconic music videos and a glossy paper booklet which shows images from her videos and fun facts about every single, like worldwide chart peaks, release dates and some more.

To be honest, this is what I expected, but at the same time, it is not. Let's get started with the box itself, it's simple but cool, which it's not bad, but it is too small and tight and it's kinda hard to put the cds back on after you pull them off the box, it should be a little (just a little) larger so we don't have to pres the cds so hard to close it. The singles come in a cardboard sleeve with all the original art and every cover and CD comes with a collectors number (which I think it's awesome), now the CDs have all the same art printed on them and it's kinda boring, I actually thought that the CDs will also have their original artwork printed on them, I think it would have been great if they had it too.

Also, every single have only two music tracks, I rather rip them on my computer and play all the tracks on my iPod instead of changing the CDs every 8 minutes. But I actually didn't buy this collection to play the music on them (I have them all already), I did it because of the meaning that it has for a collector and a fan of Miss Spears. You'll see, not all of her singles are released in most of the countries, so this is like a treasure box for most of us.

To conclude, I give this collection 4 out of 5 stars. The music in it it's perfect as always and shows the history that Britney Spears has as a Pop Icon, you can definitely see and hear her evolution as an artist, her work it's admirable and I think we'll have more from Britney in the years to come. The only bad note that this item has it's, let's say, its last-minute made design, which should have been, a little bit, better worked out. Britney and her fans deserve it, I mean, it's been 10 years!, it's a BIG celebration to the BIGGEST Pop Icon of our days!, You heard that, JIVE Records??.

Could be a better deluxe set

Just received my singles collection box the other day.

THE GOOD: Box design and CD sleeve and artwork design good. The remastered audio in the CD singles have good soundstage. The remastered video is sharp with good colour balance and contrast on almost every clip.

THE BAD: Box is a bit tight to house all 29 CD singles and 1 DVD in their respective sleeves, removing and inserting the discs took some effort. The spine of some CD sleeves were slightly wrinkled due the squeezing inside the box.

Each CD single only have 2 tracks, almost all singles have one remix and one album track. Should include more remixes, non-album and rare version tracks on each single.

Music soundtrack on the DVD is standard stereo but sounded interior to the 2004 DVD release "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative". Soundtrack not properly remastered to take advantage of the high fidelity DVD stereo.

Video for new single "3" not included.

CONCLUSION: Box and CD sleeves good for display in your AV or Britney's collection with just a standard offering of the contents for Britney's fans.

I though this box would be very big !

* When I ordered a box set on Amazon I though it would be very big (because it contain 30 discs). But I was very shocked when I received it ! The box set is too small ! I couldn't believe that ! It charged me more than 70$ and I just received like this ! I want it bigger !
* The box is too small to put all of discs and a booklet into it. I am afraid if I try so hard, discs will be broken. I hate this box so much !
* Design of each single very poor. Discs are covered by hard paper and nothing in there ! However covers are very nice !
* A booklet is too poor, It's just photos from her videos ! I hoped singles would be original, but It's not ! All CDs' faces are black. Why didn't they keep original pictures !
* I love Britney and her music (she's rock!) but this box set made me very disappointed !
* So I give this box 3 stars because of a poor design.

Can't get enough of Britney Spears :D

I'm a fan of Britney since 1999. I watched 2 of her Circus tour, one in Sydney (20th November 2009) and one in Melbourne (27th November 2009). I bought this Ultimate Single Collection on the 24th November 2009 and it arrived on 20th December 2009. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! Well, mainly because I'm a Britney fan :D The price it self is CHEAPER than if you have to buy it in Australia (between AUD$130 - AUD$190) ^^. The only downside is the waiting time to get the product on your hand :( but I'm willing to wait if I can get the product for $30-$90 less!!!
