After paying an accountant to do my taxes for years, the price kept going up. I gave turbo tax a try and was very pleased with the results.

TURBOTAX IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT! WORKED BETTER THAN ADVISED. MY COMPANINT IS WITH AMAZON, ONLY NEEDED ONE TURBOTAX DELUX. SOME THERE WAS A MIX UP,I RECEIVED TWO(2)THE VERY NEXT DAY I RETURNED ONE OF THEM FOR FULL CREDIT,I DID NOT GET! AMAZON GAVE ME ONLY PARTIAL REFUND. WHY? OK on 2009 tax

This program did take me step by step to complete the tax form. However, it wasn't as friendly as the older version, but it was detail-oriented. I also did not like that I couldn't print certain pages of my return. You either had to print the whole thing (including all supplemental pages) or none at all. The other inconvenience was that you had to download the state return and if you wanted to request for an extension, it gave you only the form for the federal extension, but not the state (if there is one).
