Overall good product

Only slight difference between the cover and keys on my 15" macbook pro (2010). Overall good fit. You can see the light in between the keys through the cover but the keys don't light up. I didn't expect it to. And pretty much like what most people said you have to type a bit harder, but its not much of a difference. Worth the price you pay!

great product for a great price!!!!

I just got this keyboard cover in the mail today! I was honestly surprised I recieved this product in the mail so soon (on Saturday) since i ordered the item very late Thursday night.
The cover came folded in half but that didn't cause any problems and it wasn't creased or anything like that.
Once I fit the cover on my keyboard I was absolutely delighted about how great the fit was!
It looks great and you can barely tell there is a cover on my keyboard---- this is the main reason why I prefer this cover compared to clear or white covers.
Although it is unfortunate that the keys on the actual cover do not let the light from the illuminated keyboard shine through, I found that it wasn't much of a problem since the light shines through in between the keys (this basically illuminates the keyboard so that you can type in the dark with no problems).
This is a great investment and you will not regret it!

Was scared to buy at first...

I was scared to buy a keyboard protector at first. I had different ones in my amazon cart... I wanted a GOOD one for a GOOD price. There is a clear one with a higher review on here somewhere,... but was significantly more expensive. I got to thinking about having a pale clear cover over my keyboard. I got this one in and was very pleased at first. I put it on, and started typing. It is definitely different. Kind of cool. For the price it was def worth it. Anyone rating this product lower than 4 stars does not factor in PRICE-to-Effectiveness ratio. I am tired of people writing reviews bashing a product that they paid 19 cents for and expecting a 300 dollar value. The are idiots. So... keep in mind when you get this in,... it is less than 20 dollars. K? And if you do... you will be very happy that you can protect your apple investment for many years to come.

WOW What an AWESOME product..... I made my purchase based on other reviews here..... and i'm Glad i did!!!!!!! PERFECT fit for my Macbook Pro Unibody 13" Slows down my typing only a tad bit ........ but the protection it affords my computer is well worth it :):):) I couldn't be happier and the price was GREAT too :) Thanks

perfect fit

i am a new Mac person and wanted to take my new Mac to the beach with me and not get crud in the keys. This fit perfectly over the keys and the top closes fully when in place. The light from the keys don't show through. If you have ever typed with a silicone cover, it takes a bit more umph to punch the keys but you get used to it. Good investment!
