Great Product

We use this griddler at least 3 times a week. It works well. Food is moist and tasty. Menu and guide is OK. It could be better. A web site link with some additional tips from customers would be nice. It doesn't clean up as easily as it says in the dishwasher (we have a high end Kitchenaid). We find that soaking the grills in hot water with a little dishwasher soap works for a few minutes helps them come out very clean.

Super for families

Got this as a gift for my husband for Father's Day and we love it! From grilled sandwiches to grilled veggies and on to fried eggs, it is easy to clean and easy to use. We have recommended to our family members. We like that the grill plates come off easily and wash off easily. The integrated "drip pan" works really well. The unit generates enough heat to thoroughly cook items in a short period of time. No complaints.

Fantastic, Life-Changing Product

I don't usually gush over a product but I really LOVE this thing.

After a recent diabetes diagnosis I decided to get healthy through diet and exercise.

With this product I've been cooking one thing after another, all healthy, and very easy to use and clean.

Even cooking the bread for bruschetta (1/2" baguette slice cut on the diagonal and drizzled with olive oil and pressed until golden brown) is fast and delicious (and then for the topping diced farmers' market tomatoes with diced garlic, basil [if you have it -- still great without}, extra-virgin olive oil, and salt and pepper, then spooned on top of two of the slices of bread). Fantastic appetizer for all the good things to come after -- and there will be plenty of that.

We cooked steaks last night but have also had fantastic luck with marinated kebabs and on and on.

I can't say enough good things about this.

Of the grills they rated (none of which was from Cuisinart), America's Test Kitchen rated the Krups Panini Maker best buy because the plates aren't removable and puts out heat a little more intensely as a result, but that unit dies within a year according to reviews on Amazon. By comparison, this one is warranted for three years, and after cooking those steaks in no time I'm wondering how much more heat one needs? They seared beautifully and had grill marks and were so tender and tasty inside after just a few minutes.

Mostly we're going to be doing kebabs but I'm looking forward to trying barbecued chicken soon too. The asparagus we grilled was so simple (a LITTLE olive oil, then plopped on the grill, then once grilled to slightly limp with grill marks but not mushy and overcooked, dressed with some extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper).

You'll love this. It's so well thought out and designed, it performs well, it cleans up incredibly easily, and it doesn't heat up your kitchen.

griddle Also liked the removable, dishwasher-safe grill plates--very convenient and easy maintenance. The
temperature controls are much more accurate than those on similar products such as the George Foreman line.
