A PROMISE KEPT

A GOOD SUMMER READ. KEPT ME COMING BACK TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CHARACTERS.

great book

A Promise to Remember was a great Christian fiction novel. Kathryn Cushman the author did a excellent job of telling the lives of Melanie and Andie.Melanie was a single struggling mother working hard just to get by. Andie of course lived the life of luxury .When their sons have an accident, that is when the story begins. Melanie hires a lawyer to blame the rich family for the accident. Everyone as problems in their life but if you have faith in God you can overcome.

A wonderful read that makes you think

I downloaded this book as a free kindle book. I was unfamiliar with the author and I was unaware that it was a Christian book. What a wondeful surprise I experienced when I got into the book and realized that not only did I appreciate the author's talent but I found the book thought provoking and very good. This book is about grief, miscommunication, anger and remorse but it is also about healing, faith, forgiveness and love. It is a great book club read and I have recommened it to my Facebook friends becasue of the messages woven into the story line. I will remember this book and this author.

Good book

Was a little skeptical downloading this to my Kindle. I don't have much time to read, so I'm pretty picky on what I download. It was a good book; not the best I've ever read, but very enjoyable.
