Great magazine for getting a summary on the latest entertainment news without all the tabloids nonsense.

Easy, pleasant lightly entertaining

I subscribe to 5 or 6 magazines of which this is one. The fact that I renewed it once again says I must enjoy reading it. What is inside is all about the things we Americans do to entertain ourselves. It not only reviews movies but also TV programs, music, books,etc.. It goes inside and behind the scenes in articles about the industry of entertainment. True, it is neither earth-saving nor intellectually challenging, but then I believe that is why I enjoy it. There are more than enough of those kinds of publications. This one is for those of us who have a love of good movies and TV programming and like to have a place to read reviews
that will give us some direction in this regard. And sometimes you just want to pick up something to read that is enjoyable but not too involving. It has well-written articles that I have found to be accurate for the most part.

Love this magazine

What I love about EW is that it is NOT People or US Weekly. It is not about celebrities, its about entertainment. The monthly columns written by Steven King are my very favorites. I love that they also do more than tell us about movies and TV. You will also find information about music, books, gaming and, on occasion, Broadway shows. Keep it coming EW and I will always be a loyal subscriber.
