Leave Miley Alone!!!
I would like for people to understand that Miley has to grow up one day just like the rest of us. She does not want to sing pop bubble gum songs forever. Okay, our children enjoyed Hannah Montana now lets put her to rest. I hate how people judge this album and that is why the CANT BE
TAMED
message is for you. Leave her alone and let her move into her next stage. First Brittany now Miley. Who's next Justin Bieber leave her alone!!! The album is great
Very good for what it is, but...
Miley Cyrus's recently-released CD, 'Can't Be
Tamed
', contains many first-rate pop songs. The album's opening track, 'Liberty Walk', sets the album's electro-pop vibe, and its lyrics, such as 'don't like what you do/don't take the abuse', seem harsher than those of Cyrus's earlier works. This goes hand-in-hand with the more adult image that Cyrus is attempting to cultivate.
Other songs, such as 'Who Owns My Heart', 'Scars', 'Two More Lonely People', 'Permanent December', and to a lesser extent, 'Robot' and 'Can't Be Tamed', follow suit, delivering exceptional pop melodies. The passable lyrics, ironically are more relevent to teens than the adults that Cyrus is catering to on 'Can't Be Tamed'. I am currently sixteen years old, and upon initially listening to the album, I found the lyrics of most of the songs to be almost autobiographical. If Miley were still aiming her music at teens as on 'Breakout', this would be excellent, but she is not doing so. As a result, her lyrics come off as awkward in places when combined with her revamped image.
Additionally, 'Can't Be Tamed' is also unfortunately hampered by factors other than its lyrics. The more slowly-paced songs 'Stay' and 'Take Me Along' are extremely hit-or-miss; the former is a decent song, but would be much better suited to a singer other than Cyrus. 'Stay' was clearly slapped on as obligatory pop ballads to showcase Miley's range. To a lesser extent, this is also true of 'Take Me Along', and 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'.
Stylistically, Cyrus's 'Can't Be Tamed' also fails to stand out against other electro-pop albums released since mid-2009. Granted, Cyrus's music sounds different to me compared to Lady GaGa's or Ke$ha's, but to many other, likely older, ears, 'Can't Be Tamed' would be lost in a sea of highly similar albums. Perhaps if the producers decided to go for a more acoustic sound for example, the album would come off as more sincere and less mass-marketed.
But that being said, I am a sucker for mass-marketed teen pop, so Cyrus's latest effort is very good in my eyes. But for many others, especially the adults that are supposedly targered by the album, 'Can't Be Tamed' would quite easily fail to deliver.

Can't Be
Tamed
is another great album from Miley Cyrus.
It is compiled with a variety of awesome feel-good songs that are perfect for any situation.
This CD has it all... a fantastic vibe, Beat, and Feeling to it, The music is powerful and meaningfull and it makes you want to dance. My favorite song on the album is "My Heart Beats For Love." YOU JUST GOTTA CHECK OUT THIS CD!!!!!!!!!!!
Miley has grown up in the public eye, and her new CD reveals her natural progression and sophistication. Miley teamed with Grammy-award winning producer John Shanks (Sheryl Crow, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson) and long time Miley collaborators Tim James & Antonina Armato (Seven Things and See You Again). Tim & Antonina produced and co-wrote Can't Be
Tamed
with Miley, a self-empowering song in which Miley asserts that she has to stay true to herself in relationships. It is sure to become an anthem among her legions of fans around the world.
