Great purchase

This is primarily the wife's computer, but she absolutely loves it. It does everything she needs and then some. Clear screen, user friendly Windows 7, and plenty of memory for the price.

Great Lenovo for the price

A friend of mine who owns a software dev company has been trying to get me to buy a Lenovo for years, but I just didn't want to spend that much on a laptop. Then I found this one. I have been researching laptops for 3 years (yes it can sometimes take me awhile to make a decision), and this was by far one of the best deals/setups I could find.

Like pretty much everything about this laptop. Nice and sturdy feel to it. I have 3 things I wish I could change about it:
1. Wish you could turn off the touchpad for the mouse, this is a feature that I loved on my HP
2. Wish you could turn the volume up a little more, my HP had JBL speakers built in so I kind of miss that.
3. Wish there was an external volume control button...not always conveinient to click the screen when you're in the middle of a presentations.

Other then those couple of things I LOVE this comp!

This item comes with a celeron processor, is not a dual core... then is you need performance... think in other model..

awesome laptop

I got my new Lenovo G550 a couple of weeks back from Amazon. Its great and more than what I expected for the money I spent on it. I am using it for my everyday computing - internet browing, playing songs, movies, social networking.. The screen clarity, audio (3D surround) are awesome.. keyboard is comfortable enough.. As of now "All is well" .. Over all I am loving it.
