Acer Aspire AS5251 is a great value!

I have never owned an Acer product before and I am very satisfied with what I see from this laptop. Aside from the processor speed,it does everything that you will need and for only $349.00! It is very well constructed and has a large screen with resolution that you would not expect at this price. Windows 7 has performed well but I only use this laptop for basic functions so I can't speak for anything outside of that. Amazon, as always delivered my order faster than their estimate and this thing was packaged well enough to survive a stagecoach delivery. I will need to purchase a new desktop soon (if for no other reason but to get rid of VISTA)and will will definitely be looking to see if Acer has what I need.

Vertical scroll & HDMI

I love the HDMI output feature to the HDTV at 720p, 1080i, 1080p.
The web stuff & video shows up great!
The vertical scroll bar does not work reliably! I have to resolve to
holding down the left pad while I scroll up and down reliability.

Great computer. Way better than the price indicated.

Top quality build with great sound and video. Light weight. Thin LCD screen. I got my about 2 month ago, so far no problem and stable.
