Kubuntu news

After trying out SuSE 10 I am back to using Kubuntu as my main distro and it seems that this is a good decision. I always hoped that someday Ubuntu and Kubuntu would be treated equally by Canonical. Well it’s still a long way to go but now we are a step closer to it. Canonical wants to put more resources into KDE! Mark Shuttleworth announced that he was now using Kubuntu on his desktop machine and said he wanted Kubuntu to move to a first class distribution within the Ubuntu community. A good posting on this subject by a moderator on the Official English Ubuntu Forums can be found here. Jonathan Riddells (main dev of Kubuntu afaik) specifications list is interesting too. Go Kubuntu!
