everyone should switch!
These new bulbs are great! They are good for the environment and for the pocketbook, and the complaints that you hear about the quality of the light are generally exagerated - they are easy to get used to, and people made the same complaints when we switched from gas light to electric! Do we notice that anymore?

Best in the business!
Hi, I just wanted to say that these Lamps are the best I have found. I have tried many different brands, and found that the others tend to make noise in which is found in audio equipment, or they just buzz themselves. The ESB seen here are the finest in my mind! The seller/shipper is good too. They pack them well and they ship them out with great speed. Two thumbs up!!

Extra brightness really helps!
This bulb is excellent! I was already using a 27 Watt CFL with 5100K color temperature, replaced it with this one, and the extra brighness just made things better. Based on research I've read, in order to combat SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder, you need to get the brightness in a room above 1000 Lux. These are the bulbs to use to do it. Nice replacement for regular candelabra bulbs
I just bought one of these bulbs to try it out and it works fine as a replacement for the incandescent bulbs. It's about the same size as the incandescent bulb and has a similar brightness and color as the 40watt bulb I replaced. Update January 2008: The bulb burnt out a couple of weeks ago. About two years after purchasing it.

Fine Bulb
This bulb is fine for indoor lighting. One thing the description omits is that the color temperature is 2700K.

Very good alternative to halogen for recessed lighting
I bought one of these to try it out instead of a normal halogen PAR30, and found it did a very good job. It still comes on bit dim, and takes about a minute to fully warm up, but once fully on it's difficult to tell the difference between this and a 50W halogen. My favorite light color
We tried several different kinds of CFL bulbs. Many are very white(sometimes labelled as 5100k). Some are very yellow like incandescents(sometimes labelled 2700K). These are a nice in-between color - fairly white, but a little bit of yellow which makes the light feel 'warmer'.
