Highlights for Children
I like this magazine.
I am seven years old, (almost 8), and I really like Highlights because I really enjoy the crafts in each issue. I also like the cover page that tells all about what's inside the magazine. I think most kids would really enjoy this magazine.

We love this magazine
I don't understand the reviews saying it is not well constructed or that the images aren't very good. Are you sure you are talking about Animal Baby? The pages are very heavy duty and there is a nice mix of photography and bright picures as well as illustrations. There are really all types of media used I find. My son really loves these mags. We are starting to tape up a few of the older ...

Ranger Rick is a winner!
I ordered this for my grandchildren. They all enjoy looking at it. My 2 1/2 year old grandsons both like it, too. It is a great magazine for any animal lover. I want to teach them the importance of animals and to work to protect them. If we all start when they are small, they will grow up with that love. "In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we ...

Discovery Girls
One-of-a-Kind Magazine is Written Mostly By Its Own Young Readers
What really makes DG a one-of-a-kind magazine is that over half of its content is written by the readers themselves. Each month the magazine travels to a new state and finds twelve girls that according to Catherine "...stand out as role models, girls with something interesting to say, girls who simply have that special spark...and we also try to get a diverse group in terms of size, ethnic ...

Starting Our Second Year With Zoobooks
We subscribed to Zoobooks for our son as a gift for his birthday last year. He loved borrowing copies from the school library and has always been extremely interested in animals. I knew that Zoobooks was high-quality and no advertising, so it would be money well spent. He has loved getting the magazine each month and makes a point of marking the calendar when one issue arrives so he can count ...

Having received 6 issues now, I am very impressed with NG Little Kids. Each issue is 24 pgs long, of which 19 of them containing high quality photos (as opposed to drawings). It is packed with activities: a page or two on questioning animal behavior, figuring out rhymes, finding differences and similarities, naming close-up shots, matching big and small items, counting, solving a maze, finding ...

My Daughter Loves Spider!
Posted for Maddie (age 9) My favorite part is Spider's Mailbox and the comic strips. I read every issue four times each! There are buggies that make comments and have their own stories on the bottoms of the pages. All the buggies are funny. I bought Ask for my 8 year old son. I think I am as excited as he is when a new one arrives. It is very educational and brings out a little explorer in all of us. You will be so glad you bought Ask. They don't teach this stuff in school. My son wants to be a scientist when he grows up, now.

Great Magazine
This magazine is a great one. My son (age 7) looks for it in the mailbox and when it arrives he reads it cover to cover. He particularly likes the section about scouts saving their leaders or scouts helping scouts. It is an interesting book. It has badges you can earn at times and hints and helps and advice for a variety of scouting type activities and events. Enjoy. Well worth the money.
