National Geographic is an awesome magazine, and I would not hesitate getting a subscription, but I would not get it here. If you go to National Geographic's website and click on the 'subscribe' link, you can get it for only $15 for 12 issues. Plus, you don't have to deal with a third party distributor if you order direct from the source.

Being a film studies major, I get this magazine mainly for the movie reviews and the articles about upcoming blockbusters, etc. I love the mag. FINALLY a mag for moms w/older kids!
After my two kids grew out of babyhood, I was sad to find that regular Parenting wasn't that helpful or relevant to my life anymore. I'm SO glad that they decided to start a new school years publication! The articles are timely, inspired, and FUN to read. Whoever is running this thing has a great voice and sense of humor. Looking forward to future issues!

A month & 1/2 after having paid for this magazine I have yet to recieve a single issue!Bonus? What bonus? I have never even recieved a confirmation of my order from the publisher.Im thinkin theres a federal law against taking money for something the buyer doesn't receive in 2 weeks,right? Sup?

Worth the money just for Insider
I got this pretty much just so I can access ESPN insider online. I like reading the daily blurbs from around the NFL. The Athlete X article written by the anonymous NFL players is really interesting. The articles in general are pretty short, so it keeps your attention Do not, I repeat do not buy this magazine subscription from ESPN. So much cheaper on Amazon! I think it's 40 bucks a year on ...

Food Network Magazine-Good enough to eat!
Nice looking magazine-beautiful pictures and very good recipes. If you enjoy watching Food Network and then go online to look for the recipes featured on a show, you'll also enjoy the selection of recipes within the magazine. Lots of ads but tolerable! And lots to read! I've given 2 gift subscriptions to it (besides getting one for myself)and highly recommend it.

Cooking light has great recipes. I really love the format of the recipes and the beautiful pictures. I find this magazine extremely inspiring to actually get me to the kitchen to make something extra special. There is also a great variety of healthy foods.
