A monthly magazine, aimed at hobbyists and do-it-yourselfers. Deep enough to appeal to engineers, but written well enough to be readable for others. I've been reading it for about 50 years, and still find plenty of fresh material. The Amazon.com price was a real bargain.

I got this pretty much just so I can access ESPN insider online. I like reading the daily blurbs from around the NFL. The Athlete X article written by the anonymous NFL players is really interesting. FINALLY a mag for moms w/older kids!
After my two kids grew out of babyhood, I was sad to find that regular Parenting wasn't that helpful or relevant to my life anymore. I'm SO glad that they decided to start a new school years publication! The articles are timely, inspired, and FUN to read. Whoever is running this thing has a great voice and sense of humor. Nice looking magazine-beautiful pictures and very good recipes. If you enjoy watching Food Network and then go online to look for the recipes featured on a show, you'll also enjoy the selection of recipes within the magazine. Lots of ads but tolerable! And lots to read! I've given 2 gift subscriptions to it (besides getting one for myself)and highly recommend it.
