I loved this show when I saw it - and I was reminded of just how much when I pulled out the cd again recently. This is an incredibly strong score, beautifully performed. Norm Lewis breaks my heart. Penny Fuller is a goddess. Mary Testa is a gift from heaven. This show is a joy.

A fabulous cast including the incredible talents of Lillias White, Jennifer Hudson, Ana Gasteyer, Soshana Bean and Eden Espinosa! The journey this CD takes you on is truly a treat! The new songs on the disc are FANTASTIC! (Eden and Ana) The men in the cast are just as wonderful as the ladies...a VERY diverse cast with a FANTASTIC sound!

Incredible Live Album
This incredible concert (which i attended) benefitting The Actors' Fund of America, contains some absolute MUST performances for any Broadway collector. For me, the highlights are HUGH PANARO ("It Never Was You"), NANCY DUSSAULT ("It's Him") and TIM CURRY singing "Surabaya Johnny" in German! Loretta Divine, Brock Peters, they're all great!

Little Mermaid, good show, great songs
This was my girlfriends birthday gift. She's a musical theater major at NYU and she did this show as her character study. It's got Beyond My Wildest Dreams, Part of Your World, and my favorite If Only. There is nothing like 4 voices thundering at once. I love this album and especially If Only

Great production value
I bought this years and years ago and enjoyed it, then lost it. Couldn't find another copy, so I listened to original 1969 recording for years, but was never totally happy with it. It is good, but, honestly, I prefer the production quality and vocals on the cast recording. When I found the cast recording again, my feeling was re-confirmed. Great sound.

The best musical of the new millennium
I'll make it short and sweet, just as the play's run was short and less than sweet: I'm writing this in 2007, and AMOUR remains the best musical of the new millennium. Malcolm Gets was just about perfect, Melissa Errico's voice is magnificent, the seven other cast members were remarkably good in multiple roles, James Lapine did his usual superb job of directing...but the real star of AMOUR is, ...
