For anyone wondering what the packaging is like for the VINYL edition of this most excellent set: The only way to truly appreciate the visual work put into this project is to see it full-scale by way of the double LP set. Housed in a beautiful glossy black gatefold with flat black illustrations, and our beloved ACDC logo crystallized in blood red on the front. The inside follows this design ...

Great music from a fantastic movie
I just had the opportunity to see the movie on the road tour in Seattle. Wow! I've been a fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show for years. Repo! is so much better. I will have these songs stuck in my head for days and that's not a bad thing. The soundtrack does not disappoint. If the movie is playing close to you, go see it, even if it's a little out of the way.

BETTER THAN A LIVE CONCERT
i SAY THAT BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE UPS. U DON'T SEE ALL THAT WHEN U ONE OF THOUSANDS IN A CROWD, EVEN CLOSE TO FRONT STAGE CENTER. i'VE SEEN ZZTOP LIVE IN CONCERT AND I ENJOYED IT IMMENSELY. NEVER THE LESS NOT HAVEING TO DEAL WITH THE CROWD PRESSING UP AGAINST U ON ALL SIDES AND STANDING IN LINE TO GET BEER OR TO PISS. THIS IS A MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.

Wonderful AND extremely well recorded!
I collect and own 100's of music DVD's, and nearly all music HD-DVD's and music Blu-ray's yet released, which I play back with very resolving gear in my home theater. I bought this because Alison is tops by any measure. I knew the music would be wonderful, but I was surprised to find the recording quality itself to be so outstanding. Very dynamic with excellent sound stage and dimension. The ...

THE BEST SONG
all of this cd is great, only acdc can get away with what they do , repeating lyrics over n over , lol, awesome! , you just let this whole cd play ....loud! and when track 13 comes on you play it louder! as loud as your amp delivers. [without distorting of course] so go find yourself a place to work out ,bike, run, etc. crank the 2008 release of acdc and life is good with black ice! you just ...

This is an Amazing CD/DVD!
"Hoggin all the Covers" is most Def a Must have CD/DVD! After waiting nearly 2 years for the release, I have to say its even better then I expected. The band gets up close and personal! I would recommend ...

Keeper of the British blues god flame (even if he isn't British)
My favorite CD of 2009 so far. Don't let the negative reviews scare you away if you like good guitar playing (and you don't need to put labels on it to enjoy it). Sure, from a purist standpoint, there's stuff on these disks that is loud raunchy, Marshall-driven rock. But, for me, that actually makes it sweeter. And you can say the same for most disks by Clapton or Hendrix...maybe even Buddy ...

AMAZING CD
Brooke White was one of my favorites of the last season of American Idol, when I learned that she released a cd, I couldn't wait and bought it. Wasn't at all dissappointed, the whole cd is fabulous. Congratulations, Brooke!!!

Grammy nomination?
I believe From the REACH will be Sonny's break through album. It should at least receive a grammy nomination for blues album of the year, if not win. Several of the songs are incredible. However, I especially love "When I Still Had You", which sounds like his lament to the loss of old New Orleans. Although Blue Tarp Blues is obviously about Katrina, several other songs have subtle Katrina ...

Feel the Magic of Music
I have never been more pleased with a CD purchase in my life. At first I was worried that it might not have some of the songs that were sung by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but I was pleased to find out that it contains the entire song not just the clips that were played in the movie. Although the music isn't mixed the same way that it is in the film all of the songs are there. I tried to multitask ...

if you love the movie, you love this
For any of you whining and moaning and nagging that it isn't like the show, get a clue. It says "From the Original Motion Picture". For anyone confusing "HBO: Home Box Office" for an ACTUAL box office, apologies, but the only "motion picture" of SATC is the one that just came out in 2008 in actual movie theatres. If you want the tv show theme song, nope, you aren't going to get it here. If ...

The only way this DVD could be better is if it had more discs so make sure you buy the 2 DVD version. If you are a fan of any of the performers here you cannot go wrong.

Mary Did You Know? by Kenny Rogers is wonderful
The Kenny Rogers/Winona (?) Judd version of this song is fantastic, maybe the best version I have heard to date. I can't get it out of my head.

My daughter wanted to listen to it right away but, when she found out it did not have Hannah Montana singing, she was a little upset, since she paid for it. She also thought there was going to be Hannah Montana 2 songs on the CD, but overall she was happy with this purchase.

Who' Next -- A Political Puzzle?
Well folks, at a stop over in Hodgenville, Kentucky (courting the Lincoln Cabin Indepedents), they played my campaign song, "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who. Oh, I am sure you've heard it. And, any day now, I expect The Who's lawyer to contact me and serve a cease and desist order not to use the song in my campaign. This is modern day politics folks. I am but a victim of the overbearing ...

perfect bedtime music for baby
We always play this cd during the evening routine, just right before the baby's falling asleep and he really likes it. The light tunes are really efficient for this purpose. It is a mixture of songs from the big classics like Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Debussy. Worth the money!
