Absolutely beautiful selections performed perfectly!! I play it almost daily and repeatedly. I am familiar with several pieces from a performance perspective and enjoy the entire collection immensely.

Country? Really? Not really so much....
I love & listen to this album as much as any other Social D album. Some people have said that this album is "country" and not "punk." Well... Some people are deaf. Others are, well, dumb. Between the two you'll find people that say Mike Ness & Social Distortion went "country..." Seriously? Shania Twain comparisons? Sound aside, and no offense to Mike Ness, Shania fills out her ...

Superb...
I got the CD yesterday, popped into my Jeep's CD player and drove through the Sonoran Desert in Arizona where I live. Now I love music from the Middle-East and I have a modest collection of 'classical' Middle-Eastern music, but this....this was superb! It's modern music; original and not 'classical', although it's beyond anything I've heard in my 'Western' ears. And Azam Ali as the voice of an ...

Best Metal Album Ever
My favorite all-time singer meets a great band, produced by my favorite producer, Martin Birch. Song for song this is the best Classic Metal Album ever. There is not a "filler" song on here the "title track" might be my favorite song ever. Enough said? Wish it was available on a seperate remaster, "Black Sabbath the Dio Years" has the live version of "Children of the Sea," I wish it was the ...

I know this is not a new album, but as I listen to it yet again I wonder why this group isn't more appreciated. This album is along the lines of CSNY - Deju Vu, in my opinion. In other words, a must own. More modern, of course, but just completely awesome. It's great song after awesome song, all solid.

Awesome Concert
This was one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time. If you liked Black Sabbath the dio years you'll love this concert. These 60 something rockers have what it takes to put on a concert that you can even watch with your kids. Not a single F-Bomb.

Favorite release in a while.
Really solid album. "Drug a Wheel" is so defiant. Bear in Heaven perfectly blends the electronic and acoustic elements. Really good vocals/arrangements. Definitely worth the purchase.

BEST ALBUM EVER
It's 21 years I am listening to this album and I can't get enough. Best album ever ...not only for SLAYER and Heavy Metal in general, but best album for any kind of music I listen to...and pay attention I listen Jazz, Cindy Lauper, Blues Brothers ecc. I fell in love with drums listening at this album, the best drumming I ever listen to, by Dave Lombardo, my drummer idol All the songs have ...

A Metallic Masterpiece
Before I heard this album, I wasn't exactly a Black Sabbath (w/Dio) fan. But as soon as I saw the video for "Bible Black" air after That Metal Show, the song blew me away and I had to hear more. I waited eagerly for the release and rushed out to buy it. Glad I did. The album kicks ass and there's not a single bad song on here. I'd also like to thank this album for getting me into the heavier side ...

God-breathed music!
The BEST Christian worship music EVER.. EVER. I cannot believe how this music took me to a level of worship that I never knew existed. The lyrics are incredible.. the voice is breath-taking.. the instrumentals are flawless. Love, love this CD and any music of Phil Wickham's.

" With Eileen Farrell whispering in her ear"
I began to appreciate this cd with the 2nd listening. I wasn't immediately impressed. Renee Fleming has one of the greatest voices in opera history. Her Marschallin has no equal. Many opera singers have crashed when attempting a different musical style. For me, the reason is they use their operatic voice to sing the new style. This produces a "heavy", undesirable sound. When I heard Renee Fleming ...

angel voices
Libera, how angelic your voices are. Such good blending of voices. My only concern is hope these young boys have time to be with their families and spent time apart from the choir. Too much choir practice and rehearsing is not healthy for young children..

A Review
I have never really been a fan of Traditional Irish Music and had never even HEARD of the Irish Tenors....That is until a friend of mine introduced me to the recording of "Live In Belfast" Instantly, I was hooked. I have become addicted to a lot of these songs. Especially the goofier ones they sing. like "Phil the Fluther" and "Courtin in the Kitchen" When Heritage was released I was ...

AWESOME worship
First - full disclosure - my wife and I have been members at Covenant Church for 14 years, and we were present when most of these tracks were recorded, so my review definitely contains some level of bias. I'm sure that the spritual and musical impact of the songs on this CD is greater for me because hearing the songs immediately takes me back to the service and atmosphere that was present in the ...

Improvement
It's so great to see how Hayley's voice has improved since her debut album. She's had singing lessons and it was worth it. Her voice is so bright, pure, sweet... WONDERFUL. I love her high notes and the way she makes everything sound peaceful.

Great new album.
This is a great album, way better than anything after Lick It Up. Great songs, tight band even though not the full line up of KISS and the vocals are great. I was not sure what to expect from a new KISS album but this one delivers and then some. Very impressed I hope they do another but include Ace, don't really care for Peter he's useless compared to Singer.

Godspeed You Black Emperor

Emotional overheat
In the darkening mood of the 1990s, Canada's Godspeed You Black Emperor became the most out-there voice in the music world with their combination of radical political narratives and music capable of burning the heart of a listener like nobody ever had before. Whereas bands like Slint, Bark Psychosis and Don Cabellero had founded the quiet-to-loud dynamics that permitted post-rock to move ...

Simply the best - a classic
I've been listening to this recording for decades and never tire of it. I will always remember seeing "Chess" in London in 1986. The end of the Cold War sounded a death knell for such a topical piece of musical theater at the time but it's been long enough for a revival and I'm overjoyed to see that there is a new DVD out of the live from the Royal Albert Hall concert version of "Chess". Perhaps ...

Forget the 80's Stuff! This IS Cheap Trick!
In 1977 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, my girlfriend and I went to see KISS and Cheap Trick. At this time they played a few songs from this album and when it was released the following year, it became an instant favorite. This by far is the best Cheap Trick, when they still sounded like themselves. Dream Police, released in 1979 is right up there with this one, then as the 80's hit I lost ...
