I'm a big fan of Nina Simone's but didn't really make an effort to seek out Arie's music until I heard a clip of "I am ready for love". I was instantly sold and knew that I had to have the cd and boy, does she deliver! It's soulful, intelligent, and just plain groovy. This is a musical artist who will always deliver whether or not the results are 'pop' catchy. Enjoy!

India Arie is an artist that is obviously overlooked by the music industry. This woman is fantastic. She works with some of the best musicians in the business and she is one herself. India has a buttery smooth voice and her message is positive for women, her lyrics are loving toward men. She is very introspective and spiritual. I will continue to purchase her work.

Exceptionally beautiful
A friend introduced me to Krisha Das' music a few years ago and I loved it. I bought Live on Earth and have listened to it MANY times. I recently picked up this album and it blew me away. The chants are so beautiful, especially the first one 'Baba Hanuman'. I work on my computer all day and this is wonderful music to sooth my spirit as I get things done. Highly recommended!
