MOODY BLUES "LIVE" - THEY NEVER AGE!!
Since the mid-60's the four members of the Moody Blues (originally "5" which had included keyboardist Mike Pinder who decided to drop out from the group in 1978), Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Ray Thomas (who has now left the group), and Graeme Edge, have never left their unique formula of orchestral/rock. In the 40-years since their breakthrough album (that was before 8-tracks and cassettes and ...

Absolutely bananas, listened to the album for a little bit, then decided to buy the DVD. It was what I was anticipating, a very good video that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great Concert
Great image and sound quality. Outstanding performance from a band that is the salvation of rock nowadays. My first concert in Blu-ray and I`m just amazed. There`s no way the image could be any better.Great product.

How refreshing!
After many years of "copy-cats" following the orginal three tenors, we have something new and original. The quality of the singing is very good but they shine at their presentation of each song. Four cheers for The Canadian Tenors!

Fantastic!! Second DVD pays acoustic guitar solo tribute to Syd Barrett's: " Dark Globe". Better than Syds performance. The concert is real and from the heart with excellent sound, picture quality and camera shots.

Well worth the wait and the price
I was ecstatic when I heard there was going to be a Distant Worlds II. Whenever classic video game music is arranged for and played by a full orchestra, I'm there, especially in the case of Final Fantasy. I own all of the other Final Fantasy orchestral concert CDs and had high hopes for this one. I'm happy to say this album delivered and then some. 1. Prelude (FF Series): The perfect way to ...

Perfect
In 2002, Square held a concert, showcasing orchestral versions of their already incredibly good Final Fantasy music. You will find that many of the pieces on Distant Worlds to have the same composition as those from the 2002 concert CD. However, I always found the recording from the concert to be... less than stellar. It was recorded live in a concert hall. A great way to hear music performed, ...

Truly A Piece Of Art!
I was in London in July 2010 and thought I must go do something a bit more intellectual. I thought that instead of all the waste of time and money on the shopping districts, I should go watch a classic play such as Les Miserables. It was a very wise decision because this play is truly a piece of art. First of all its a musical play. Not a musical like "Chicago" where the songs can't be heard ...

Joe Bonamassa Rocks!
All I can say is that I REALLY enjoyed the DVD's. Joe is an amazing talent and it really shows through in his playing during the concert. The only thing greater than his playing skills is his humbleness and humility. Joe sounds truely greatful for the opportunities he's been given and his sucess hasn't gone to his head. I like that. The world has enough conceited performers that act like ...

This thing kills!
OK, this is not a great musical experience, but a hodgepodge of the loud, vigorous and stirring parts. For what it is, and purports to be, it deserves 5 stars. If nothing else, it has the best cannon fusillade of any 1812 overture I have heard. It also includes some of the best versions ever of several compositions, such as Kunzel's rendition of the Fucik favorite, Entry of the Gladiators. ...

Don't let the low price fool you!
This CD is magnificent, especially for people just getting into opera. I've never really been interested in opera before, but I've recently started listening to it and wanted a CD of my own to listen to. When I bought this, I was a little wary of the low price, and I wondered what the quality would be (mostly quality of the content). Let me tell you, it is magnificent! There are so many ...

Favorite Musical
I have always loved this musical. Yul Bryner as the "King" was wonderful. I have never been able to picture anyone but him in this roll. When I listen to the music I can picture him on the stage performing the songs and creating the role, since I had the opportunity to see him do so on the stage. This is one of my favorite CD's and I listen to it often.

The best gift ever.
I purchased this CD as a birthday gift for my sister. Because I personally know nothing about opera, I didn't know how to buy a single opera for her, or even which one she would like if I did know how to get it. So I settled on this "sampler" style Cd, and she just loved it. This is the best of the best of all opera arias and performances. My sister plays it all the time, and I think it is ...

love it
I recorded this music when I first saw it on public tv and loved it. 'Les Miserables' is my favorite musical. My recording, however, was on VHS tape and I couldn't watch it anymore. This is a wonderful recording especially for those of us who weren't able to see the original. It was almost like watching the play on stage. I would recommend it to anyone and have.
