The perfect addition to your home studio.
I've been playing my Oxygen 61-key for a while and I've been very impressed with the quality of the keyboard. The keys are weighted well. Not too stiff and definitely not loose, giving them a realistic feel. The controls are easily mapped to your virtual instrument. The modulation and pitch control wheels allow fine tuning of the sound. I've used many MIDI controllers, including other ...

Great keyboard, no gig bag fits it though.
This keyboard is perfect for basic MIDI entry, which is all I need - it's compact, light, portable, and USB powered. The only problem is, there is no gig bag that I can find that fits a keyboard like this. All gig bags are 14 to 15 inches deep and 5 inches high, while the keyboard is only 8 inches deep and 3 inches high. The box that it came in has a plastic handle, but who wants to use a ...

Outstanding Midi-controller for the price
I bought this about a two months back. I've been using it with Reason, Logic and other software programs. They keys are a bit heavy, so they're amazing to touch. The functions on the midi-controller allow you to do anything. It takes some time to get used to all the functions and controls, specially assigning new functions, but once you get used to it, it's a beautiful midi-controller. It's ...

Great! Especially when using it with Apple Garageband!
GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!! I can not say any more. The only downside is it is kind of heavy, but other than that, GREAT! The user manual could be a little easier to use as well.

Axiom 61 just keeps on working
I first had the Axiom 25 and loved it when I used Garageband. When I got ProTools (all of them Mini 2, LE, and M-Powered) I moved up to another brand. When I got Logic Pro and Logic Pro Express I got the Axiom 61 and never looked back. I have a double rack and the Axiom 61 gets used constantly and I think that says it for me. P.S. I didn't know there was a"lead" issue with the paint on the ...

E-MU does it again
My previous MIDI interface, in the early Nineties, was through my soundcard's gamepad/serial port. After years in mothballs, I recently reassembled my equipment but couldn't get around the problem of latency with my MIDI wind-controller. I had read that USB was the norm with MIDI these days and so decided upon E-MU after reading several positive on-line reviews and factoring in cost. The ...

MacBook users watch out
This is a good unit for the price. However, it took me several tries to get it working properly with Garageband on my MacBook. When I started recording, it came through great for about a minute. Then I began experiencing a lot of static and distortion in both the headphones and when I played it back. After doing some research, I found that plugging the M-Audio into the usb port that was ...

very good, solid, budget keyboard
I'm a digital music noob and have been putting together a modest setup on my Dell laptop running Windows Vista. I'll tell ya it hasn't been easy. Drivers that don't work, programs that won't register and are incompatible with each other, sound cards that are also inadequate, audio interfaces that have bad drivers and won't work with anything else, oh my, it's been some hard lessons learned and ...

very versatile with great driver support
Edirol/Roland appears to be the rare company that supports their products after release with updated drivers for more recent operating systems (including Vista/Mac OS 10.5) Very solid product that does exactly what it says it will with almost no CPU impact. Great for 96kHz / 24 bit input.

Great cable!
Note that if you're running a newer Mac (I have a MacBook Pro) you have to download the latest driver from Yamaha. And another gotcha is that you have to completely uninstall the driver they give you in the box before the new one will work. It's annoying as all get out, but the instructions for how to do the uninstall are on the CD so it's not -too- bad. Anyway, once the right driver was ...

As the other reviews say this is a great product for the price and ever since I updated the Firmware and Driver it has worked perfectly with Vista Ultimate. I have also used this product successfully with Adobe Audition 3.0 as well as the included Cubase LE software. In both cases the product performed very well and I have had no problems with it. I do have one issue with this product however ...
Numark Total Control USB MIDI DJ Software Controller

Numark Total Control
Pros It is cheap as it provides mixer with crossfaders and turntable all in one for the price of SGD 524 which most DJ set will be much more. It is powered by USB and lights to indicate in the dark. With faders, knobs and jog wheels enough for basic scratching and mixing, it is pretty neat as a software controller. Cons It uses jog wheel, the feel of scratching is weird compare to a vinyl is ...

Great USB-to-MIDI cable, OK software
I was looking for a USB-to-MIDI cable to hook up my Yamaha keyboard to my computer, and came across this. As this kit of the USB cable and piano-teaching software only cost a few dollars more than just buying the USB-to-MIDI cable, I bought this instead. FYI, I'm an adult who's just learning how to play piano for the first time. The USB-to-MIDI cable works great. It's a Turtle-Beach brand ...

Good controler
It does a good job of controlling virtual instruments; it comes with USB plug support. It's pretty light and the keys feel good. It needs to be ran with good programs to be of any use. I guess I would enjoy this product a whole lot more if I had cubase to use the module. I suppose music isn't supposed to be cheap to make. (I do have programs that the keyboard can play off of) I'm holding ...

Why isn't everything as simple and awesome as this?
I just love this product. I have made so much music with it. I just love the mpc style pads. I don't understand why keyboard manufactures don't use the sensitive pad system. It just feels like how an instrument should be controlled. I have a midi key board and the only reason I use it to get at more notes. This pad set up lets you pound out rhythm lines just like you would on a bass or guitar. ...
