If you need to connect two ethernet cables because of a longer run (and don't want to re-run a longer cable) this is the adapter for you. It works well and solved my distance problem.

Great idea!
This little cable is a great idea. Hooked up in seconds and the sound is wonderful. At first I tried an accessory connection and that was pretty bad. This one did the trick. Be aware that it does not charge the Ipod but the sound quality is top rate.

This product is nice at it's intended use, but is completely worthless because there's absolutely NO way to mount the device at all, to even start to terminate. Wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, the instructions make reference to it being mounted I guess in some propriety mounting system.
