A Good Buy!
Product works great and was easy to install . . just insert batteries in both units and hang. The large digital display is easy to read, much improved over my previous model (another brand).

Wirerless Weather Instrumnents
All of the wireless weather gear I have purchased over the last 10 years from Oregon Scientific performed superbly and this sensor is no exception! It is easy to set up, accurate and reasonably priced. It is also fully backwards compatable with older model systems (400 Mh)

Great Product!!!
I've used other wireless thermometers and they do not hold a candle to this little gem. I live in a 3 story townhouse apartment, so my living room is on the 2nd floor... quite a ways away from my smoker. The other wireless thermometers that I've had could never read the signal at the grill when I put them on my coffee table. Call me lazy but when I'm smoking food I hate having to walk up and ...

atomic clock
atomic clock. pros: accuracy. got to have at least one clock in the house as an impecable time machine. spotlighting of the time and temp on the ceiling in big red numerals certainly gets your attention at 3am. makes me laugh and shake my head. great idea. cons: five second backlight is too short. ten seconds would be better for us smooth brain old guys. the alarm sucks, ...

We can see the outdoor temperature again!
My atomic clock/temp sensor is about 5 yrs. old. From the wear & tear of daily weather, the outside sensor finally died. The inside temp. and time continued to work, but I hated not knowing the outside temp so I could dress the kids properly for school. Now it is working again and I love it!

Temp at a glance
I put this on the slider to the deck. It works well and is at a very handy location to monitor the outside temp every time walking into the kitchen. If you plan to put it on the slider in your home BE SURE THE SLIDER HAS A STOP before it contacts the thermometer. That is why I purchased a second one :).

Our Family Loves this!!!! so fun.
I gave this to my husband almost a year ago and our whole family loves it. It sits on the kitchen counter and we check it every morning. It comes with a wireless remote that you set outside (in a fairly safe place so that it lasts). It seems accurate but you do have to adjust to whether or not you put the remote in or out of the sun. We prefer ours in a shady spot and realize that it will be ...

6 Years, 21,000 miles, still going strong
I can't begin to tell you the abuse I've subjected this product to. 1- Used it on my RV. Probe was outside from freezing to desert for 6000 miles. 2- Took it up to Alaska and back, 15,000 miles. 3- Used it to determine the temp. of my developing solution (very caustic chemicals). 4- Now it's being pecked by chickens in my brooder. I seem to never replace batteries in this. I can ...

Great product
I bought this for my 13 year old who has a loft bed and had trouble seeing her clock. It has worked out great. She loves it and is very happy. The projection on the ceiling is clear and easy to read. So far no problems at all.

Fun and sort of useful
I purchased this item, and the 17" stand alone thermometer model. I knew nothing about barometers. I knew nothing about Galileo thermometers. I use this model in my living room. The weather glass does indeed respond to pressure changes, and does a nice job of predicting foul weather. The thermometer is accurate, easy to read (and interpolate). It only works in a range of 64 thru 80 ...

Just what we wanted!
We recently purchased this weather station to replace one that had finally stopped working. Being able to see the outside temperature and humidity is a nice addition to the previous one as well as having an "atomic" clock built in. My only regret is that we were unaware that there is apparently a more sophisticated model that will also allow a remote rain gauge to be added. Other than that this ...

Informative and fun!
We purchased this item for our new home and are delighted with it! It's a perfect size, easy to read and has all the necessary features to help you decide if the weather outside is frightful or fine. You can even set your clocks and watches to the accurate data of the Wireless Weather Station's Atomic Clock. Makes a great gift for anyone!

Pretty good
My only complaint with this is that it seems to lose the signal for the outside temperature frequently. Other than that, I think it works very well. Worth noting: I thought that it was wall-mountable. It is NOT. There is a large plastic base built in that makes wall-mounting impossible. Bottom line: Great for the price

We love it!
We have not had one problem with ours. I'm so surprised so many people have had trouble. Ours is set up with the rain gauge outside on a post of the deck, the monitor in the kitchen and the transmitter halfway in between on the screened porch. We've had it almost one year and ...well, we live in North Georgia so we haven't nearly enough rain to fill up Lake Lanier. But this gauge has kept a ...

Great Indoor Outdoor Thermometer
I love the size of this little unit. It sits on my counter and isn't in the way at all. Very accurate with the temperature as well. If this one "dies" on me, I'll definitely purchase another one the same.

REALLY HARD TO USE
This rain gauge is really hard to set and use. It has to be absolutely level to measure rain. I had to log on to the website to get through some of the set up problems. If it didn't cost more to return it than its worth I would do it. I thought this one would be better than the LaCrosse I had before. I will purchase another cheap LaCrosse and be happy again.

Works great. No base station required.
I wanted something portable so I could check the temperature and humidity throughout my house. This does the trick. Also my cooling system has a humidity dial but it doesn't tell you what humidity it is adding to your house. I believe you want around 40-45%. If humidity is too low, you can suffer from dry noses, skin, and throats, as well as cracked fingertips, and you're more likely to catch a ...

Nothing wrong with Cold Alarm feature
Great product. Easy setup and worked easily out of the box by reading easy to follow directions. I think the review say the cold weather alarm being a flaw didn't read that it only applies to channel 1. I broadcast it on channel 3 and haven't had any issues. So far, it is the best atomic clock I've seen for less than 10 bucks.
