Samurai Shodown Anthology49 reviews

PlayStation2 | SNK, 2009

Wonderful Old-style fighter
SNK-Playmore doesn't let down with another of their Anthology works! Having all of the series' characters in one title is a wonderful plus for fans of the series, and the character customizer is a nice little diversion for those who like to have a bit of personality added to their play. A good fighter for those who clamor for the originals.

Hearts of Iron Anthology12 reviews

Windows | Valusoft, 2007

All a Armchair General could ever want
Do other strategy seem to simplistic? Did you ever wish you had more freedom? Did you ever want to conquer the world, not just the battlefield? Well Hearts of Iron II is the answer to your desires. But it is not for the meek, this game is seriously complex and a massively steep learning curve. I've been playing for two years and I still don't know half of the magic going on behind the scenes. In ...

On the main menu when you press the 'bonus' button, you get to view a bunch of Atari flyers and ...

Richard Scarry's Favorite Storybook Ever (Picture Book)9 reviews
Golden Books

Golden Books, 2003

Another Generation Enraptured
When shopping for books for my 3 year old grandson's visit, I remembered my son's love of Richard Scarry's books. "Favorite Storybook Ever" is one of the two I purchased. Myles must have requested that book be read to him five times a day!! We poured over the pictures and talked about the funny vehicles like the pickle truck and always had to hunt for Goldbug! Richard Scarry is a must for any ...

Rome Total War Anthology (Total War, Alexander & Barbarian)8 reviews

Sega

Total War
A student of ancient and Medieval history, I loved playing both Rome and Medieval Total War...I have played and won with all the factions, in all the eras (of both games)...it's been a while since I have played anything other than MMOs, and now that STO is a total disappointment...I have returned to my two favorite PC games of all time...and they're still as fresh as the first time I played ...

Unreal Anthology31 reviews

Windows | Midway, 2006

Great for Unreal Fans!!
It doesn't matter what Unreal game is your favorite, or if you've even played Unreal before. If you're interested in it, this package is the way to go. It's a great value, fun, and it has all of the Unreal games packed into one! This was worth every penny.

Viva Adventure Anthology4 reviews

Windows | Viva Media, 2008

GREAT!!!
If you're into adventure games, you really can't do much better than this deal. This is an excellent collection of games for the price. I checked out some of these games at a store in town, and many of them were right there on the shelf, being sold separately for the same price as this collection! This bundle is billed as having eight adventures. However, one of the games, AGON, actually ...

Metal Slug Anthology21 reviews

Sony PSP | Ignition Entertainment Ltd, 2007

METAL SLUG!
Do you like to run in video games? Do you like to gun in video games? Do you like to run and gun in video games? Then have I found a game for you! Metal Slug has been around for some time. With 6 different arcade cabinets, a GBA release, two Neo*Geo Pocket games, a Nintendo DS game, and two PSP games (this is one of them, of course), it's safe to say that this is a well established franchise. ...

Half-Life 1 Anthology28 reviews

Windows | Electronic Arts, 2005

Great Games--AVOID STEAM.
these are the games you remember. except for STEAM. with STEAM, you are only buying access to a game for as long as STEAM exists, however long that is. more, should you ever use your credit card to "chargeback" anything you've purchased via STEAM, your STEAM account will be disabled over this and you will lose access to everything you have already spent money on. why would you chargeback? because ...

Activision Anthology30 reviews

PlayStation2 | Activision Inc., 2002

This game delivers what it promises
This game has the classic Activision games for the Atari 2600 plus a few non-Activision games, most notably Demon Attack. Most of the games I never owned for the Atari, and most of those games aren't much fun and I don't play them except for a couple hidden gems. The controls are a lot easier than the Atari joystick considering we wore out the Atari controllers. The PS2 controller is much more ...

World Heroes Anthology10 reviews

PlayStation2 | SNK, 2008

Do you remember "Arcades?"
Strangely, I don't recall some of these World Heroes games being this difficult. Thankfully, you can change the difficulty on this port! You can also change the color on your character, the music, and practice those hard to perform combos in practice mode. I'm not a big World Heroes fan, but I love SNK NeoGeo! Any true fan will need to have this title in their library.

Cinderella (Reusable Sticker Book)2 reviews
RH Disney

RH/Disney, 2005

Fun and easy to use
The book came before it was scheduled and my 4-year-old niece LOVED it. The stickers are reusable, which is really nice. She enjoys moving them around. Her favorite thing to do is make her "own" story (there is a blank page at the back of the book to do that). She has really enjoyed this item!

Samurai Shodown Anthology12 reviews

Nintendo Wii | SNK, 2009

Great Fighter for the Wii
It's one of the best old school fighters for the Wii. Also one of the only decent fighters for the Wii ;) Great controls Very accurate gameplay Just great fun.

Samurai Shodown Anthology6 reviews

Sony PSP | SNK, 2009

Might as well get it.
I don't think anyone under 25 will like this, but if you loved SS in the arcades back in the day, you'll love this. Yes, the PS2 version does run much better, but if you need this on the go, this is as good as it's going to get. The two problems I have with the PSP version: 1.) Slowdown in 2 of the games on this disc (4 and 5 seem to be the worst offenders) 2.) Long loading times for SSVI. ...

Final Fantasy Anthology: Collector's Package1 review

PlayStation | Squaresoft Square-Enix

A 1/2 Review...Final Fantasy VI!
For years, I have heard two things (and I will avoid numerals for this review...). One...that Final Fantasy 7 was the best Final Fantasy and had the best Final Fantasy villain. Two...that Final Fantasy 6 was the best Final Fantasy and had the best Final Fantasy villain. This is where I've found that there are three camps of Final Fantasy fans (although it applies to most RPGs, but I'm sticking ...
