So Your Preschooler Wants to Play Your DS...
... then let them in on the action with this fun mini game collection geared for younger players. My three year old started playing this around her 3rd Birthday (it was one of her gifts) and she loved it, playing it for hours. Some uninformed family members were worried about her "wasting time" playing video games, but in reality, it is an educational title. The mini games are varied and ...

Busy Mom
This does keep my 3 year old busy. It's good that you advance no matter if you clear the previous screen or not which allows him to play a lot longer than other games that end if you don't win. There are some cute games in it that do teach him something but aren't too hard for him to understand. I like this one.

Great fun! Good balance of difficulty for young players.
My 8-year-old son got this for Christmas and we started playing it together. At first we were thinking it was pretty simple and might turn out to be boring and monotonous. As we progressed we found out that this game has a lot to offer, it just takes a little while to uncover some of the secrets. The most fun and unique thing about this game is the ability to plan out a dungeon in such a way ...

A Fun Game Kids Can Play Alone or with an Adult
Smart Kid's Party Fun Pak is a great game for girls and boys. It's like two games in one. One set of games is for girls and the other set is for boys. But if your child is like my niece, they'll enjoy playing all of the games no matter their gender. There are 36 mini-games in this collection. Believe me, this game will keep your child busy until you decide they've played long enough. You'll ...

Don't judge the game based on "other" peoples opinions!
I bought this game for myself because it was cheap. I spent 13.00 so, for the money I was confident that even if I didn't like the game, the loss would be survivable. I just put the game in the Wii about an hour ago, and when I first started playing the game I quit almost immediately because I thought it was really lame. I was about to take the game out and write it up as a loss, but thought I ...

Great for little tikes.
My 4 year old took this package of games and started it by himself and has not put it down for a week now. He is very excited at what he can create and he challenges family and friends to competitions with his game and he usually wins. Great to keep him occupied on long trips! No adult intervention needed, so I highly recommend this for the kids under 7 and it is good for boys and girls.

Another Great Smart Girl's Title
This is a great entry into the Smart Girl's series. It's basically a mini game collection setup in a large dollhouse. Click parts of the house (all named) to start a mini game. My (nearly) four year old especially loves: RING TOSS (use the stylus to toss rings to "catch" prizes - winning a prize makes the kitty at the top of the screen happy) the COLORING game (various animated bits that ...

Great Fun For the Younger Set
I purchased this game for our 4 year old. He loves playing it. Surprisingly enough, our 7 year old daughter also enjoys playing the "girl" version of this game which is in the same cartridge. It was money well spent. It includes puzzles, matching, counting, find the differences, driving, dress-up, and music to name a few.

Parent of a 3-year old boy.
This is basically a 3-in-1 game. It is compilation of Interactive Storybook Series 1, Interactive Storybook Series 2, and Interactive Storybook Series 3. It is one of the few DS games that is made just for little kids. It is geared for ages 3+. It has some short stories, simple mini games, a drawing pad, music, a coloring book, and puzzles. Besides being fun for little kids it is also ...

Fun game!
This game is really fun. If you like puzzle games, you will enjoy this game. It does get a bit repetitive, but it's still a good game for the price.
Interactive Storybook Series 1

Nintendo DS | Tommo, 2007
Okay for it's intended audience
As the title indicate, it is an interactive storybook of four separate stories (The Three Little Pigs, Snow Queen, The Bat, Kaguyahime) and a few extras in a DS cart. The (short) stories are around five or so minutes long, narrated with light dramatization. The upper screen shows the text being spoken while the lower screen displays semi-interactive images (they animate or play a sound ...
Anubis II

Nintendo Wii | Tommo, 2007
The worst game yet for the Wii, avoid
Anubis II has a budget price for a reason. This is above all the worst game to see the light of day for the Wii yet, thanks to it's unresponsive controls, ugly visuals, boring gameplay, and a grating soundtrack all combine to help Anubis II claim the aforementioned title. You play as the savior of ancient Egypt, or something, in what would otherwise be called a platformer. As anyone who has ...

Great for preschoolers.
My 4 year old got this for Christmas and LOVES it. He easily plays all the games without constantly having to ask for adult help. We also have the "Smart Kids" which has boy and girl games. He prefers this one.

For the AC vets
If you're looking at this game, odds are you've played an Armored Core game before. If that is the case then you're in for more of the same, only now you can take it with you. One thing to keep in mind is that the description of the game is inaccurate. They haven't updated it from the description of the original Japanese version. The original Jap version of the game does not let you control ...

Awesome game for 3+
My 3 year old son has not put this game down for days. It's also filled with very good content. As an elementary school teacher, I love seeing games that can actually give some benefit to children. This game is like having a little pre-school in your pocket!
