Magic 408 reviews Bruce Springsteen
Columbia Records, 2007
Bruce and Magic
+ Nice songs, horrible recording + Best album of 2007, for sure.
Bought the CD for my husband who loves it, and he has a lot of Bruce.
I have downloaded it to my Ipod and have started to listen to it. Some really fine songs on it, but I have not played enough to give a more detailed review. If hubby is happy, it was well worth the purchase!

INCREDIBLE VOICE, ALANIS SHINES!!!
+ A must have... + Alanis in Fuzzville : JLP goes Norwegian Wood
When I first heard her first hit single "you oughta know", I simply fell in love with Alanis Morissette's voice, and I knew I had to go straight to the mall and buy her cd Jagged Little Pill...
Well the rest is history! It was the best cd of the 1990's, and the songs still hoard most radio ...

Shine 128 reviews Joni Mitchell
HEAR MUSIC, 2007
CONTEMPORARY DHARMA
+ "Shine" by Joni Mitchell
Joni didn't disappoint with her new cd. The second I heard "Shine" on CBC Radio, I knew wanted to hear more of her newest, long-time awaited, release. Many of the songs have a very Buddhist feel to them: The teaching of equanimity in "If" and "Shine", and Compassionate action, in "Hana." Her ...

In Rainbows 267 reviews Radiohead
Ato Records / Red, 2008
Fantastic
+ Awesome Record
Radiohead is a band who's releases continue to remain solid throughout over a decade of songwriting. While other bands dwindle in their creativity, they keep it up with every album. Every song on this album is great. "Nude" and "Reckoner" are two that practically give me a religious experience ...

I head this in a friends car, and I couldn't believe how good this is! I am getting burnt on all the normal releases in the Rap world, more of a Hendrix, Al Green type of listner lately, or hard rock.... but this is fantastic....And of course that lead me to snoop around a bit more and I heard the ...

Awesome Album!
+ Coldplay in instrumental shocker + Depth and melody
What can you say about Coldplay other than they continue to produce awesome music. Each album seems to surpass the previous one no matter how good it was! The thing I think sets Coldplay apart from other bands today
