explaining adoption

+ Adoption book "The Day We Met You"

The illustrations were wonderful. The tone and sentiment in this little story explains adoption in terms that a chld can understand. One exceptional aspect of the book is that the author, who is an adoptive parent, offers guidance and suggestions in reading the book to an adoptive child.

A great little start to learning Chinese

+ Great Resource!

Not only does this book have the photos and the English translation but it has the Chinese pronunciation in "pygn-english". It's easy as pie to read and follow. Though there are not to many phrases, it's a good book for the learning of nouns.
