BIRDHOUSE KIT1 review

American Science & Surplus

American Science & Surplus

Hard to build for a kid.

I bought this for my 9 year old. The only thing he could do was paint it. There is also not enough paint in the kit to paint the whole house, I had to add some paint. Plan to spend some time helping your kid put this thing together.

Graveyard Gothic Garden2 reviews

I loved this nicely creepy miniature garden.

I was given a Graveyard Gothic Garden a while back, and as I enjoy gardening and miniatures AND ghoulish topics, it was a perfect fit. I had good success with the seeds in my kit, with all but one variety sprouting in a timely fashion, and during the first couple of months of growth, the entire ...

GITD GOOEY BUGS

American Science & Surplus

American Science & Surplus

Sticky Bugs. Nice all-purpose pastel-colored insects. They impersonate real bugs (even if their legs and antennae aren't as delicate as the originals), they're rubbery, soft and squeezy, they stick to monitors, mirrors, wall tile, etc., and they glow in the dark. But they come in an assortment of delicious candy colors, so keep them away from kids and pets who would eat them.

Excellent nursery kit but needs bigger habitat

+ Ribbit
+ Do some research on these things first.

Also an important note is this Grow-A-Frog tadpole is the African Clawed Frog, which is NOT the same as the African Dwarf Frog which is commonly sold in pet stores. The kit sold on ...

Works Well!

I bought the Hydro Greenhouse 2 offline at Toys r Us, as a gift for my girlfriend. I was rather disappointed when I opened it because its incubator case looked nothing like that shown on the box. It was made of flimsy soft plastic which couldn't really hold on to its place, and really made the ...

Insect Lore Garden Spider Web Frame1 review

Insect Lore

Insect Lore, 2008

Spin some fun!

We have all seen spider webs in our garden and swept them away for fear of running into a spider by accident. Now spiders have a designated place in the garden and kids have a way to watch them build their webs! Great fun for kids, big and small.
