Stephen King

Signet, 1993

Ruth Neary is awesome!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)3229 reviews
J. K. Rowling

Arthur A. Levine Books, 2007

Better than Prince, doesn't live up to the fear in Order

+ Backward fan
+ Amazing ending to an amazing series

Order of the Phoenix was the best, and Deathly Hallows is the 2nd best. There's fear but not the same fear experienced when reading Order. Also Voldemort's really only a threat to Europe, but not to any other continent which is kind of annoying.

Stephen King

Signet, 1988

Demanding, maddening, glorious

+ good imagination but ending dragged
+ I was up LATE LAST NIGHT & THE NIGHT BEFORE finishing this

My first reading of this book, many years ago, was aborted. I simply hadn't the patience to wait for the slowly unfolding revelation of the inhabitants of the spacecraft and found myself scanning rather than reading large tracts of the tale. So my second attempt at the Tommyknockers was a ...
