Mathematics for Physical Chemistry, Third Edition 5 reviews Robert G. Mortimer
Academic Press, 2005
The 3rd edition is much better
I agree with the earlier reviews about the number of typos and lack of solutions for problems. Most of the typos have been corrected in the newer edition, but not all. And of course solutions to the problems would be wonderful, or at least the answers. I think the book is now worth buying.

Academic Press, 1999
A big step towards the understanding of organic chemistry

Schaum's Outline of Physical Chemistry (2nd Edition) 7 reviews Clyde Metz
McGraw-Hill, 1988
Great Supplemental/Review Material
For as cheap as it is, this is a great value. It reviews every concept in physical chemistry very well. Obviously it won't replace your textbook, but it will at least cover subjects that maybe your textbook omits. The outline was last updated in 1989, but, honestly, physical chemistry has not ...

Organic Chemistry Problem Solver (REA) (Problem Solvers) 3 reviews The Staff of REA

An Example of an Excellent Supplement for Organic Chemistry
The Organic Chemistry Problem Solver is an excellent supplement for first-time students taking organic chemistry. If fact, in my opinion, it is the best at what it does -- provide students with much-needed guidance in their study of organic chemistry. It is also helpful as a review to students ...
