Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook: Roleplaying Game Core Rules, 4th Edition 182 reviews Wizards RPG Team
Wizards of the Coast, 2008
Two months in and loving every session . . .
+ Convert? Maybe.
I will simply start by saying that D&D 4th Edition is an almost complete departure from previous iterations of the system... and in my gaming group's opinion, it is a great and refreshing thing. All of us have been playing since 2nd Edition and some of us since the original Chainmail. All of us ...

Dungeons & Dragons Character Record Sheets: Roleplaying Game Character Sheets, 4th Edition 24 reviews
Wizards of the Coast, 2008
Worth the cards?
This is basically a folder with to formats of character sheets and some cards. Worth $10? I'm not sure, but I like it. First the character sheets. One is the standard one found in the back of the players handbook. But I really like the horizontal one, which gives you more room on the table for your ...

+ They're pretty, and they're dice. + pretty cool
The bag is cute and the dice are nice but I just wish they came in a variety of colorsinstead of just blue.

Dungeons and Dragons Core Rulebook Gift Set, 4th Edition 166 reviews Wizards RPG Team
Wizards of the Coast, 2008
4th edition
+ Beautiful + D&D in name only, but still alot of fun.
Good bookset.
Combination of the well-known 2nd edition and 3rd edition.
The good old XP system is back. The d20 roll is simplified and used as core throughout the encounters.

Wizards of the Coast, 2008
Greatly Improved My Game
+ WoW without the PC
I had been running a game for about a year when I picked up the 4th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide. I have to say, it improved my game tremendously, and I highly recommend it, especially to relatively new dungeon masters. Here's why.
The book provided the guidance I needed without getting in ...

Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual: Roleplaying Game Core Rules, 4th Edition 52 reviews Wizards RPG Team

The best of the 4e core books, but still leaves me feeling a bit sour
This is the best of the 4e core books for me, but still left me feeling a bit sour.
First the good. In the tradition of the 1st edition AD&D Monster Manual, this book dispenses with lengthy descriptions of monsters and instead focuses on stats. Only in rare circumstances do we get lengthy ...
