It's Better This Way 2 reviews Trip Wamsley
"Better" is Trip's Best Thus Far
+ A Masterwork
No vocals on this record. Just Trip's instruments thumping, humping, ziggling, and...yes...even sighing and moaning out lullabyes (lullabyes via the 8). Michael Manring adds nice touches on "Finally" and dueling (?) solos with Trip on "The Deeper Thing." The only "want" I have after listening to ...

The Best of Voice of the Beehive is a great cd
+ Sah WEEET!!! + Glaring omissions
I had forgotten about this band from the 80's and saw them recently on VH1 Classics. I ordered this cd and it is awesome. It's been along time since I have listened to a cd from the beginning to end. They have a great sense of humor that you don't hear in todays music. Theres a Barbarian in the ...

Indigo Girls guitar chord/vocals
The Indigo Girls guitar chord/vocal book is very nice. The back section has a nice chord diagram section of each song. There are some writings by the artists which are interesting to read. The full lyrics section is a bonus in front of each song so that once you memorize the chords to the song, ...

Sound Grammar 10 reviews Ornette Coleman
Sound Grammar, 2006
Just Beautiful
+ Exciting but apart from 3 cuts it's far from top rate Ornette + Pulitzer Prize Winning Album!
The return of acoustic Ornette Coleman, beautifully recorded, a wonderfully intuitive and interactive band, and the leader playing as sweetly as he ever has in his life. This is my favorite album of Ornette's since Song X and a reminder that the jazz greats just get better and better as they age.
