Hoo-ray for Blu-ray
+ Excellent Blu-Ray! + One of the best war films of all time.
This film is very close to the nerve centers of practically all Marines because it so very realistically depicts their experiences in either boot camp and/or Vietnam. There isn't one that didn't feel a mysterious tingle in the back of his neck and a shiver down his spine when he first heard Lee ...

Hostel - Part II [Blu-ray] 113 reviews Jay Hernandez
Sony Pictures, 2007
Thinking Person's Horror
I enjoyed the first Hostel movie due to it's entertainment/shock value. It was actually pretty funny, but at the same time it had very ominous undertones. Hostel 2 however, is a much better movie in my opinion. Director/Writer Eli Roth really put a lot into this movie. This movie had smarter ...

Well, what can I say about this movie? The first time I saw it, I wanted to be a vampire. I have seen this movie over aned over again, read the adapted book, and even inspired me to travel to Romania on the "Dracula Tour." Actually, the Romanians don't quite get the obession Americans have with ...

+ A great movie an adventure!
I absolutely loved the first movie, National Treasure, and couldn't wait to see the sequel. Now the first film is probably a better movie overall, but the second film is very enjoyable and has more action to it than the first. I think most people really enjoy seeing how Ben Gates (Nicolas Cage)can ...

Hostel - The Director's Cut [Blu-ray] 465 reviews Jay Hernandez, Derek Richardson

Haters don't get it...
+ The sold out theater i was in gave a standing ovation when the credits rolled.
There are documented cases of these "hostels" existing.
so, i guess you could say that the concept is based on true events. This film gives the audience a walk-threw of several young adults, living their lives as carelessly as most usually do...when something happens that (if they live) changes ...

Holds your interest
+ More Deserving Than Some Reviewers Gave It + Innate knowledge of good and evil
That's more than many movies can boast. Fine cast, especially Jeff Daniels as the blind roommate. The plot isn't entirely obvious, either. It does degenerate into a somewhat stock thriller during the bank robbery sequence and the aftermath, so be forewarned. Hey, this is Hollywood.
